A trio of original one act plays written especially for the Fringe. This first one, is the story of a magic book which draws the children, aged 8 to 10 into perilous adventures in a world full of haunting danger. All the plays are based on the children’s own ideas created during their weekly workshops. This second play is about a group of evacuees in WW2 who are staging a play of their own. An air raid interrupts their rehearsal and whilst the 11 to 12 year olds wait expectantly in the air raid shelter a personal secret is revealed. Then finally, written by one of the students with input from them all, Pinocchio plots to wreck the lives of the other young teenage fairytale characters in this weirdest of high schools.
